| Other | Word was received of the death in Cincinnati of Thomas Morrison, the elder of the Morrison Brothers, plasterers. He had gone there to have a tumor removed...Thomas Morrison was born in [Monaghan] County, Ireland in 1832, and at age 4, he and his parents emigrated to this country and located at Oswego, New York. From there [they moved] to Miami County, Ohio and in 1845 to Mahalasville, Morgan County, Indiana. He married Miss Jennie Thomas, daughter of Isaac Thomas, a few years later. She died 23 February 1888, leaving him childless. He died in Cincinnati from complications from a tumor operation. |
