Other | George S. Geyer, the well known blacksmith, wagon manufacturer and implement dealer, died Friday the 18th. His funeral occurred Sunday at the C.P. Church. He was born in Franklin County, Pennsylvania; died in Martinsville April 18th, aged 49 years, 8 months and 12 days. He came to Martinsville a poor young man in July 1856 and began work with Mr. J.R. Elliott. He married Miss Rancina Haywood February 11th, 1858...George S. Geyer, well and favorably known throughout the county, died very suddenly Friday afternoon. Member of the Masons and Odd Fellows. |
