Other	Sudden Death -- John Simpson, a well known citizen of this place, dropped dead last Friday while on a freight car near Gosport. He was the owner of a large rock quarry near Spencer. John Simpson was born in Montecello, Wayne County, Kentucky, November 22nd, 1835; hence was near 47 years of age. He married to Marrietta O. Parks, May 6th, 1856, and moved to Indiana the following fall. He died suddenly from disease of the heart on the 8th day of November, 1882.
