Other	William Scott of Co. G, 1st Infantry, died October 27th, 1882 and was buried October 28th at Fort Grant, Arizona Territory. He was the son of Mr. B.D. Scott of Brooklyn, Indiana. Enlisted in the regular Army at Indianapolis, December 2nd, 1880. He was sent to Columbus Barracks, Ohio, and forwarded from there to Fort Davis, Texas, March 6th, 1881, then to Clifton, Arizona Territory on the 2nd of May 1882, and from Clifton, he was sent to Fort Grant, where he died.
