Other	Age 68. "Jas. A. Pratt, an old and much esteemed citizen of Morgantown, died last Friday." "Born in Montgomery Co., Virginia, near Christiansburgh. He moved to Morgan County, Ind., near Morgantown, in 1836. He married Miss Lenah Lake, May 30th, 1833;" she died in Nov. 1850. He then married Rebecca Hamilton, Jan. 2nd, 1851; she died in August 1867. He married his third wife, Ellenor Wallis, Oct. 17th, 1867. "He was the father of 10 children, of whom three are now living." [Cemetery index notes that nothing but the name is readable on his tombstone, as the stone has been remounted and is now set deeply in the ground.]
