"Mrs. Elizabeth Pearcy, age about 50, died at her home in Johnson County Saturday. She was the widow of the late Jacob Pearcy, who formerly resided in Green Township. Last week, a daughter, age 19, died of the same disease, and a son has typhoid fever and is seriously ill." Married in Morgan Co., Ind. in April 1859.
