Other	Age 87. Born in Virginia; died at the home of his eldest son, Nathan Brown, in Brooklyn. He was "one of the pioneer settlers in this state, coming here in 1817. He was from a family of 12 children, with 6 still living. In 1834, he married Elizabeth Marly, and they had 10 children. In 1855, he and his family moved to Iowa, and were there until after the Civil War. He and 4 sons were in the Civil War, with 3 of the sons returning."
