She was 6 years old when the family moved to Shelby County, where she lived until about 19 years ago, then she moved to Martinsville. She married Isaac Miller in 1832, and they had 12 children from this union, of which 7 have died...Her husband died 19 years ago. [From the Morgan Co. Gazette for Feb. 11, 1893: "Mrs. Lydia Miller, recently deceased, willed all her real estate and personal property to her son Jap."]
