Taylor, son of John and Sarah Brunnemer Taylor, was born in Allegheny County, Virginia, 14 May 1822, and died at his home in Banta, 1 September 1897. He came to Indiana with his parents at age 7, and since such time has lived as a citizen of both Johnson and Morgan counties. He married Emeline Mitchell [license date: Aug. 17, 1843] and they had 8 children, 4 of which have died. His 1st wife died 5 April 1867, and on the 20th of June 1867, he married Mary E. White, and they had 5 children, who are all living... He served 2 terms as county commissioner of Morgan County." |
