"From Little Point -- Samuel Haylett (sic), the oldest man of this township and among the oldest in the county, died at Stilesville, Hendricks County, on Saturday and was buried at Walnut Grove. Mr. Haylett was a soldier in the War of 1812, and has lived in this county and Putnam for a number of years. He was 96 years old."
