Other	Age 81 years, 9 months and 27 days. "Uncle John Hickey of Morgantown, one of the oldest and most respected citizens of this county, died at the residence of his son-in-law, Benjamin F. Perkins, near Indianapolis, on Monday." "John Hickey was born in Sullivan County, East Tennessee, September 8, 1799. He was married to Miss Catharine Shell, who, four years ago, preceded him to the better world. He emigrated with his wife and eight children to Indiana in 1842, and settled in Morgan County, near Morgantown. He died at his daughter's, Mrs. Benjamin Perkins, on a visit, July 5th."
