Other	William Warthen, a citizen of Ray Township, died. He was a soldier and pensioner of the War of 1812. "Died in Brown Township November 2nd, William Warthen, aged 87. He was born in Tennessee. At an early date he came to Morgan County, and shortly afterwards emigrated to Missouri. In 1835, he came back."
