Other	Sophia Kriner, wife of John S. Kriner, died Sunday morning the 18th, aged 76 years. Her maiden name was Starey. She was born in Adams County, Pennsylvania, and was married to John S. Kriner on September 30, 1832. A year later, they removed to Maryland, where they lived until 1850, when they moved to Ohio, and 3 years later they came to Indiana, where they have since resided. Nine children were born unto them -- 6 boys and 3 girls. Two died while young and one at the age of 47.
