| Other | Sudden Death -- Capt. John M. McKahan, of near Centerton, died Monday. He went into the Army from Wabash County and served in the 111th Indiana Infantry Regiment. He has lived in this county about 10 years. He leaves a family of 7 children, and all but Claude live in California. His wife was killed about a year ago, returning from California...His body was shipped to Wabash, where funeral services will be held. "Capt. McKahan died of cancer of the stomach." |
