| Other | Forty-six years ago, in the summer of 1837, Paddy Branner, an Irishman employed with a number of others in building the dam across White River at Waverly, was drowned. Later, his body was found downstream and he was buried near the river. Now, the river has changed its course and the bones, in good shape, are exposed. |
