"Mrs. Mary Kivett, an old resident of Morgan County, died at the residence of her son-in-law, Eld. Eli Pruitt of Lake Valley, September 7th. Her funeral services were conducted at Poplar Grove M.E. Church, at Wilbur. The deceased was a native of North Carolina, where she was born in 1798."
