Other	John Costner (sic) was born in Butler County, Ohio, 25 May 1845 and died at his home near Mooresville, 8 July 1889, age 44 years, 1 month, and 8 days. He was a Civil War veteran [Co. E, 148 Ind.]. He married Harriet House 1 March 1871 and from this union was born 4 sons and a daughter. One son died in infancy. His mother died when he was but 3 years old. Buried in Coster family plot, Mooresville Cemetery.
