Other	Age 63 years, 8 months, and 10 days. Married first wife on April 21, 1850 in Morgan Co., Ind.; she died in 1857. Married second wife, again in Morgan Co., on Feb. 25, 1858. "The many friends of Alexander Steward (sic) and family were shocked last Saturday morning to learn of his death. He would have been 64 years of age had he lived until March 9th, 1888. His parents died when he was quite young, and he made his home with the father of H.H. Olds, County Recorder, until he became grown. He married his benefactor's sister, who lived but a few years, dying April 19th, 1857, at the age of 23. Two months before her death, the elder of their 2 children died, at the age of 3. Their youngest child, James, now lives in Indianapolis. He then married Miss Cina Hooten, by whom he leaves 9 children, 3 of whom are married and live in or near this city. Over 200 people attended his funeral and he was interred at Williams Cemetery."
