| Other | William C. Greeson, the well known harness maker in Mooresville, died this morning. He was the last of 14 children of John and Barbara Greeson, who emigrated from North Carolina in 1840. They died in Mooresville in 1851 and 1852. He was born in Mooresville 18 November 1844 and was 62 years old when he died. He was a Civil War veteran, and twice married, first to Mary Ann Pecke, and after her death, he married Amanda Rinker, sister of George L. Rinker. He was the first Mason initiated at the Brooklyn Lodge. |
