They were both originally from Morgan County, and he was born and raised in this county. Her maiden name was Anderson; she was the daughter of John Anderson, deceased. After their marriage, they moved to Indianapolis, where the murders took place, in 1890. "They had a daughter, 4 years old. He blamed part of the trouble on his mother-in-law, Mrs. Victoria Anderson. This all took place last Friday." |
