He was 51 years old and a brother to Hiram Avery, living here, and George Avery, working in Terre Haute. His mother and father have been dead for several years. About 20 years ago, he had a serious accident at Frankfort, Clinton County, and at such time, his wife divorced him. He was a Civil War veteran. [Co. F, 5th Ind. Cav.] Mrs. Jacob Lewis is a sister to the deceased." |
