Other	Age 75. "Born in Fayette Co., Kentucky. Around age 6, moved to Warrick Co. with his parents, Huett and Susan Nutter. In 1828, he moved to Morgan Co. His father had a family of 13 full brothers and sisters and 3 half brothers and sisters. John's mother died, and his father married a 2nd time. John was the 7th child in the family. Married on Aug. 26, 1841 in Morgan Co., Ind., to Sarah Wilson, daughter of a neighboring farmer. One of his children, Albert H., was born 2 May 1854, and another, Harriet A., was born 10 August 1842; she was married to Van B. Cobb. She died 21 October 1860, leaving an infant child, named after him. John died 11 August 1892. He was born in August, died in August, married in August, and his oldest child was born in August. His oldest brother, Richard, died in August. He and his wife were married more than 50 years." He was an early boat pilot on the White River.
