| Other | Age 98. Died in Ray Twp., Morgan Co., Ind. Married his wife on Sept. 20, 1841 in Cincinnati. Father of 3 sons: Peter Jr., John, and William. Located in Morgan County in 1852; then they had four more children: Joseph, Mary J., George, and another daughter, Fannie (also shown in census records as Frank S., Rancina, and F. Sina). In 1880, he was a saloon keeper in Martinsville. He was a native of Prussia, and his wife a native of Switzerland. Celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1891. "They have a son, William, buried in the west. He was killed in the Custer Massacre in the Black Hills." -- Martinsville Republican, Sept. 24, 1891.
