Other Age 78. "A horrible death -- John Harryman...was killed Sunday by an angry bull." "Uncle John Harryman, an old and respected farmer of Madison Township, was killed Sunday by a Jersey bull. Though de-horned, the bull knocked him down and stomped Mr. Harryman...[He was] perhaps the only survivor from Morgan County of the Black Hawk War." Father of seven children. "From Madison Township -- The area is saddened by the death of Uncle Johnny Harriman (sic) who was found nude, except for his shoes and socks, by his son Charlie, after being stomped by a vicious bull."
