[Mr. Dresslar's first wife, Martha Boaz Dresslar, died in a terrible tornado that struck Mooresville on June 30, 1877; three of their children were also killed: Lillie, Florence, and Guilford. Mr. Dresslar and daughter Effie were badly injured in the tornado.] |
