Other	Born in Hanover, Germany. Came to American in 1839. On March 10, 1848, he married Catherine Lumbbert, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Nine years later, they moved to Indianapolis. They moved to Mooresville around 1874, and he opened the Mooresville Marble Works in a shop on East Main Street, across from the Post Office. Father of 13 children.
